The School of Sport, in conjunction with Cumbria Sport Partnership and Lancashire Sport Partnership seeks to appoint an individual for a part-time post, to develop, co-ordinate and monitor the day to day running of a University / Club Volunteer and Training Project. This project will develop and coordinate quality volunteer placements within local sports clubs and community organisations, to ensure that students at the University of Cumbria gain appropriate work-based learning and training. The project is being supported by Sport England, through their Community Investment Fund.

At present they have a board of six trustees/directors that have overall responsibility for the organisation and employ three staff, one full time and two part-time.
Trustees meet once a month on the 3rd Tuesday of the month for approximately 2 hours 10.00am to 12.00pm
